Experience the Excitement of Gooseberry This Summer
We are excited to announce our July 2012 production will be the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning musical comedy, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
How to Succeed… is a charming satire of big business set in the early 1960’s when America was full of optimism and ambition, exploring New Frontiers and reaching for the stars. Brimming with unforgettable, high energy musical numbers, this big, bright production has been called “a classic, not to be missed musical treat.” The recent revival on Broadway has starred Daniel Radcliffe, Darren Criss, and currently Nick Jonas as J. Pierpont Finch, a young man interested in climbing the ladder to success, meeting the right girl, becoming popular, and “living the American Dream.”
Be a Part of the Magic
Auditions for youth ages 11-18 and technician interviews for youth ages 13-18 will be held May 16-18. The production features several significant male and female roles. Auditions include acting, singing and dancing. Interested participants
should be available for rehearsals June 4 – July 16. Advanced sign-up is required. Online audition/interview sign-up is now available. See more details about the audition process and download audition forms here.
