I'm OK, you're OK, we're all OK... and this summer OK will be amazing as Gooseberry Park Players presents THE classic American musical, OKLAHOMA!

Join us for Rodgers & Hammerstein's first collaboration – the show that set the standards and established the rules of musical theatre that are still being followed today. Set in a Western Indian territory in the early 1900s, the story features a high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys and follows the love story of Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl.

Purchase tickets online or by calling 218-299-3314.

Gooseberry Park Players Announces
New Managing Artistic Director
The Gooseberry Park Players is thrilled to welcome Debbie Griffith as our new Managing Artistic Director.  Debbie’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of others. One of her favorite ways to do this is by bringing a story to life on the stage.

Debbie graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College with degrees in Speech/Theatre and Secondary Education.  Debbie was a high school teacher/director at Apple Valley High School, Head Speech Coach for Blaine High School and has directed numerous children’s theatre productions. She also taught community education and children’s theatre classes throughout the Minneapolis area, as well as in her hometown of Detroit Lakes, MN and her current home of International Falls, MN. Debbie is an accomplished performer (be sure and ask her about the film and television actors she’s worked with).  Her love for the theater arts and her enthusiasm is contagious, which make it no surprise that people love working with her and are encouraged to be the best they can be no matter what their role.  Debbie lives in International Falls with her husband Dan and their four sons. She currently travels as an inspirational/motivational speaker; and her 60 second radio feature, Everyday Matters, is heard on 67 stations in the US and Canada.  Debbie is thrilled to live in Moorhead for the Gooseberry Park Players season and to be near Maplelag Resort where she grew up.  We hope you will help us in welcoming Debbie into our community and the Gooseberry family!

The Gooseberry Park Players provides young people with a unique educational and multi-generational summer theatre experience. Youth ages 11 to 18 are invited to participate in our July production each year. Our productions are based on classic and contemporary dramatic literature designed to intrigue, inform, educate, entertain a family audience. We believe in providing a theatre opportunity for every child. We are a fee free program - meaning there is no activity fee to participate. Learn more about Gooseberry.
