When you partner with Gooseberry Park Players, you help youth in our community…

Our mission is to provide an educational summer theatre experience with no participation fee for youth and their families.

Our productions are selected for a youth theatre company ages 11-18. They are based on classic and contemporary literature. Our productions are performed to intrigue, inform, educate, and entertain audiences. Youth are challenged to explore the cultural and historic message of each drama
throughout their whole summer theatre experience. Cast and crew are invited to audition each spring for the summer production.

Our history has been one of positively affecting kids’ lives for over 28 years. Gooseberry Park Players began in 1983 as a show in Moorhead’s Gooseberry Mound Park. The company was eventually moved to the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre on the campus of Concordia College, where it
resides today.

Our value is in the life experiences these kids gain for everyday living. The Gooseberry Experience will:
• provide a life-long outlet for creativity
• teach group dynamics
• build self-confidence
• teach kids how to think and work under pressure
• develop specific skills, such as voice training, movement, carpentry, painting,
electrical engineering, and sewing.

Theatre Angel • $5,000
- Verbal acknowledgement of your support before each performance (including pre-show)
- Written acknowledgement of sponsorship in the program, along with a free full-page advertisement

Executive Producer • $2,500
- Verbal acknowledgement of your support before each performance (including pre-show)
- Written acknowledgement of sponsorship in the program, along with a free half-page advertisement
- 8 complimentary tickets*

Producer • $1,500
- Written acknowledgement of sponsorship in the program, along with a free quarter-page advertisement
- 4 complimentary tickets*

Director • $500

Lead • $250
- Free eighth-page advertisement in program.

Chorus • $100
- Free eighth-page advertisement in program.

Understudy • $50
